I spent two years on AskAmex, working on the internal-facing customer service portal at American Express. In my role as an SWE II, I partnered closely with product to define new feature work and owned initiatives from early planning through delivery.
Over that time, I helped turn product direction into concrete plans for contractors and junior engineers, collaborated with senior and staff engineers on architecture, and stayed hands-on day to day—leading development, building React components, and shipping production features used by customer service teams at scale.
